Care & Repair in Powys are doing everything we can to support and help those most vulnerable at this difficult time.

We’ve had to change how we work in order to keep within government guidelines and to help keep everyone safe. We are trying to do as much as we can, and currently this means:

> Urgent internal home adaptations and repairs
> External works
> Adaptations to support hospital discharges
> Updating current clients by phone
> Answering your questions and handling new requests for help as best we can.

Please note all non-urgent internal works will be added to our waiting list and we will be in touch as soon as possible to get things underway. If you are unsure if the work is or isn’t urgent then please contact us to discuss.

Keeping vulnerable older people, colleagues and the wider community safe is at the forefront of our minds. We are providing front line services safely and asking clients appropriate questions before any visits. Our teams have been fully briefed and issued with appropriate personal protective equipment.

We are working closely with Powys County Council and Powys Teaching Health Board staff to prioritise our work. Our staff are defined as Key Workers because of the support and help we give to vulnerable and older people.

Although most of our staff are working from home, you can still contact them directly or you can call us on our enquiries lines: 0300 111 3333 / 01686 620760 or email us on:

Please let us know if you wish to cancel an appointment or if you would like further information on how we can help.
